I was always excited about birthday parties. I mean which kid isn’t. I particularly looked forward to two things; dance and cake.
When it was time to share the cake, I expected a generous slice since there was usually more than one cake. However; it never happened, rather ice cube-like cuts were distributed to the children. How I so hated it because it never gave any delight or satisfaction. Realizing this to be common practice at every birthday party back in the day, I decided never to partake again. I took this determined decision at the age of 9.
Fast forward. Anytime it’s my children’s birthday, we make certain to have cakes meant to give every single child a generous slice. We’d sometimes prefer a strictly by invitation party so that not a single child would be deprived of a generous slice. This is a carry-over of the same demand I placed on my Mom anytime my birthday was celebrated.
You can say that on some things, we never really grow up. Much as that may be true, what’s more, true is that I’m generous with what I’m passionate about. This is evident in my work because I express similar generosity.
I make the experience of logo ownership for my clients’ one-of-a-kind. No gainsaying, testimonials that you can find on my agency’s website attest to this. I wasn’t playing when I took the determined decision to establish Nigeria’s foremost logo design company with the sole aim to be generous to our clients with every ounce of expertise and knowledge. I carried over my passion into the agency’s core value.
As long as you have a passion for something, be willing to give it generously. Expressed in business, its results are far-reaching. Strong relationships are built. Generosity isn’t to mean free-of-charge, No! It means for instance, a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that your work is never short of world-class delivery. It means a reason never to cut corners in the ways many designers or supposed professionals have perfected to practice after they’ve pocketed your money.
