The logo is a butterfly theme. It represents the nature and essence of the business as a women-centric and provider of expensively stylish and sophisticated quality underwear and lingerie.
According to butterfly specialist Naomi Pierce at Harvard University, “butterflies are; self propelled flowers, beautiful, graceful, varied, enchanting and sophisticated”. Doesn’t this already describe a woman? Furthermore, researchers Nanfang Yu, a physicist at Columbia University and Naomi Pierce together stated that “a butterfly’s wings reveal their secret role as sophisticated living organs”. Their research discovered that the wings of a butterfly has a heartbeat. Isn’t this what an underwear and lingerie is to a woman?
Underwear and lingerie are at the heart of a woman’s basic expression of her powerful feminine instincts. It is one of her most cherished possessions that will remain her very own secret indulgence. By all means, she would want it to be sophisticated and fitting to always help give her the simple natural expressions of her feminine instincts. To make the logo more exciting and focused, as is the nature of the business, we replaced what is supposed to be the body of the butterfly with our very own creation of what the ancient’s crafted hundred’s of years ago (before the advent of the fashion renaissance) as the symbol for the feminine (not feminism) gender. Together (wings and feminine symbol) make our butterfly theme an embodiment of the business’s purpose and vision.
We chose the color red because of its highly invigorating nature. It is considered the color for a very attractive woman.
