The Logo is both a Leaf and a Shield. With one stylized shape we deliver two ideas. As a leaf, it represents the unit part of any plant wherein a form of energy called photosynthesis takes place and one of the cleanest forms of energy known to humankind. As a shield, it represents the African style shield of defense in combat that’s common in sub-saharan Africa. Both ideas represent the business’s focus on Clean Energy and the provision of what’s regarded as “Defense services”, (the idea of defense is derived from the business name – PALISADE) that’s the kind of services required across the value chain of the oil and gas and renewable energy industry such that they can go to sleep assured of the highest quality services.
The structure of the logo takes the form of many parts that form a whole to represent the company’s multiple, yet related functions under one corporate umbrella. Also, by the distribution of the parts of the leaf, using the science of displacement (Displacement is defined as the change in position of an object, when an object moves from A position to B), the idea of “energy in motion” – the company’s tagline is represented. In other words, Palisade Integrated Services uses its operations to take its services from (point A) to the client (point B).
